Alvin Mokaya

Growing up in the Kibera slums, I joined SAA’s football academy in 2020 and found more than just a game. I found family, love, faith, and purpose.

Sylvia Chebet

My name is Sylvia Chebet from Kibera, and basketball has become a source of joy, focus, and purpose in my life. What began as a simple love for the game has grown into a journey of personal transformation through Sports Aid Africa (SAA). Through SAA’s mentorship and training, I’ve learned that true success comes from discipline, courage, and consistency. The guidance from my mentors has helped me become more responsible at home and in school. SAA’s holistic approach has empowered me to believe in myself, face challenges with confidence, and lead by example on and off the court.

Phabian Oloo

My name is Phabian Oloo, and I am from the Kibera community. Football is my passion, and playing as a striker gives me purpose and joy. Being part of Sports Aid Africa (SAA) has transformed my life and shaped my character in powerful ways. Through SAA’s commitment to Empower Youth Through Sports and Holistic Development, I have learned teamwork, discipline, confidence, and how to balance my academics with my love for football. Most importantly, SAA has strengthened my values, teaching me respect, integrity, and faith.

Bellia Ayoma

My name is Bellia Ayoma from Kibera, and I serve as the captain and midfielder of our under-15 girls’ soccer team. Football is more than a sport to me; it has shaped my character, strengthened my confidence, and inspired my purpose. Through Sports Aid Africa (SAA), I have discovered my potential on and off the field. The mentorship, training, and encouragement I’ve received have taught me discipline, teamwork, respect, and leadership. My dream is to keep improving my talent and inspire other girls in Kibera to believe in themselves.
