We Are Building Youth Leaders Through Sport.
We train coaches to deliver values, life skills, and faith using sport as the door that opens everything else.
Sports Aid Africa uses a structured three-strand curriculum values-based coaching, life skills, and Bible study — to develop character in young people across Kibera and Kenya's refugee camps.
Who We Are
Sports Aid Africa (SAA) is a Kenyan Non-Governmental Organisation established in 2012, dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty through sports-based programs, leadership training, and holistic care for children and youth in Kenya's most underserved communities.
Our Strategy
Values-Based Sport
Trained coaches deliver structured sessions where every drill teaches a value respect, teamwork, perseverance. Sport is the classroom.
Education Support
Empowering learners through scholarship, tutoring, and better learning environment.
Spiritual Formation
Bible study and discipleship woven through every session anchoring values in faith and equipping young people with identity, purpose, and hope that outlasts the programme.
Life Skills Development
Weekly life skills sessions build attitude, character, and behaviour change the inner transformation that sport alone cannot produce.
Transformed Lives
Growing up in the Kibera slums, I joined SAA's football academy in 2020 and found more than just a game. I found family, love, faith, and purpose.

Partner With UsHope Beyond Borders
Since 2012, we've expanded our programs to serve refugee communities in Dadaab and Kakuma camps, providing hope and opportunity for displaced youth who have faced unimaginable challenges.
Through sport and education, we help refugee youth build resilience, develop leadership skills, and prepare for eventual resettlement or return to their home countries.
