No. SportsAid Africais not affiliated with any specific denomination. Our roots are a local church, but we serve cooperatively with all Great Commission Christians to reach the nations and build the church of Christ around the world.

Yes. Sports Aid Africa has a worldwide network to mobilize individuals and groups from Africawho are interested in advancing God’s kingdom and spreading His renown among the nations, particularly focusing on Africa.

SportsAid Africainvites all obedient followers of Jesus who want to use sports as a means of proclaiming the gospel; no matter your level of ability or expertise, there is a place for you.

There is no membership fee, but participants can expect to pay their own trip expenses. The cost for each project varies, and specific details can be discussed with our staff by email or phone call.

We have a tiny full-time office staff of faith-based individuals. Werecruit sports people for both short-term projects and long-term placements overseas, maintain strategic relationships with mission churches, and offer assistance where needed. In our history, we have engaged more than 10 countries located in Africa. At any given time, we coordinate sports work in more than 5countries and are always looking for more opportunities!

Not at all! And actually, we detest the term ‘Christian secret agent.’ We don’t falsely identify ourselves and sneak around in another country. We go where we are invited, offering the requested sports expertise, while blessing people in the process. The main purpose behind the career work of any Christian is to make disciples, and that is our goal —through our legitimate job in sports, we build genuine relationships and share the Hope we have in Jesus.
